zauto

The zauto option lets Autolog sense an incoming ZMODEM file transfer and begin to receive the file automatically, without leaving talk mode. This option makes using the zreceive command unnecessary.

Turn the zauto option on or off with the command:
 

zauto true or false

While zauto is on, you don't need to enter command mode or enter the zreceive command, since the file transfer will begin automatically in talk mode as soon as you tell the remote side to begin sending the file(s).

If you would like to use any of the file transfer switches, you'll need to turn zauto off and enter your zreceive command with switches in command mode.

If you need to use a different file transfer protocol, be sure to turn zauto off since it may interfere with non-ZMODEM file transfers.
