Turn the xnet option on or off with the command:
While xnet is on, certain special characters and character sequences are encoded so that they can be transferred by transmit or receive over a packet-switching network that cannot transfer all characters transparently as is normally required. xnet can also be used when either the remote or local modem is not passing the XON and XOFF characters transparently. The xnet option will slow down file transfers, so it should be used only when necessary.
Old versions of Slave
for AMOS [earlier than 3.1(80)] do not support the xnet option.
