noerase

The noerase option prevents Autolog from overwriting existing files on the destination system when transferring files with some file transfer commands.

Turn noerase on or off with the command:

noerase true or false

While noerase is true, Autolog will not overwrite an existing copy of a file on the destination system if one exists with the same name as a file that you've specified to transfer. While noerase is false (the normal default), Autolog will overwrite existing files.

noerase works with these file transfer commands:

kermit send
transmit and receive get
ztransmit and zreceive capture
