Kermit Protocol
Kermit is a popular file transfer protocol supported on over 200 operating
systems. The protocol provides error correction. It allows you to use wildcard
file specifications to transfer groups or batches of files. Autolog's Kermit
supports client commands to transfer files and manage directories with a Kermit
server.
Use the kermit send command to send (upload)
files to the remote system and kermit receive
to get (download) files from the remote system using Kermit protocol.
The remote system must be equipped with software that supports Kermit protocol.
