xcrc

The xcrc option tells Autolog to use the more reliable CRC error-checking method instead of the checksum method when using the XMODEM file transfers xtransmit and xreceive.

To use XMODEM-CRC error checking, at the Autolog command prompt enter:

xcrc true

before entering your xtransmit or xreceive command.

You can use the more reliable CRC error-checking method when the remote XMODEM software also supports CRC error-checking and has been appropriately set up to do so.

Using the xcrc option when it isn't supported by the remote XMODEM software may make the file transfer fail. To turn off the xcrc option and return to using the default checksum error-checking method, enter:

xcrc false
