SMT File Transfers
Soft Machines Transfer (SMT) protocol is a way to transfer files that is
fast and buffered, with data compression and error correction. Use the
transmit command to send a file to the
remote system or the receive command
to download a file from the remote system using SMT protocol.
The remote system must have the Slave program
to use SMT protocol. Slave programs for Windows/DOS, UNIX, and AMOS platforms
are included in the Autolog release and can be distributed to remote systems
that you need to transfer files with.
