note
The note command allows you to insert text into the Autolog phone
log file, the Autolog session log, or a get
file if one is open. Use the command:
note phone, log, or get "text"
The text you want to insert must be enclosed in a pair of double quotes.
For example:
note phone "uploaded data files"
note get "Displayed contents of myfile.lst^MBefore uploading
new version."
Notes to a get file may contain more than one line. Use "^M"
(or the current meta character + M) to indicate
the end of one line and the beginning of another.
