kermit send
Use the kermit send command to send (upload) copies of files from your
system to a remote system using Kermit protocol. (Use
the kermit receive command to download files
with Kermit protocol.)
To use kermit send, you will usually need to follow these steps:
-
While in talk mode, start the remote system's Kermit file transfer program.
(Your documentation for using the remote system, or the remote system operator,
will be able to help you with this and with the next two steps.)
-
Make sure the remote Kermit settings are appropriate.
-
Use the appropriate command(s) to tell the remote system to receive files using
Kermit protocol.
-
Press the change key to return to Autolog's command prompt.
-
Enter the command:
kermit send file name(s)
If the kermit set autosend option is turned
on, you can skip steps 3 and 4. kermit set autosend
turns on Kermit auto-upload, so the remote file transfer will start
automatically at the start of the file transfer.
You can send one file or a batch
of files using the wildcard symbols supported by your system (such as * and ?).
You can rename the files as they are sent by using an equal sign:
kermit send ??file.txt
kermit send *.new = *.old
You can use any of a number of file transfer switches to
control how kermit send behaves or to additionally restrict which
files in your batch are transferred:

The kermit send command also supports these options:
